It was a fantastic Week 6 for us, as our NFL picks went 7-3 to run our yearly record on EatWatchPlay to 38-27. Let’s review the 11 questions below and see how we do in Week 7. Enjoy the NFL action and good luck to all!

Seahawks vs. Falcons. Who wins?

This is one of my favorite plays of the week! I love playing on teams that have a rest advantage and Seattle qualifies since they last played on Thursday Night Football. Atlanta has no semblance of a pass rush this year, so Geno Smith should have plenty of time to find DK Metcalf, Tyler Lockett, and Jaxson Smith-Njigba! Give me the Hawks to win the Bird Bowl.

Texans @ Packers. Who wins?

I hate fading a solid Packers squad but I have these two teams rated equally, so we’ll take a shot with the underdog. Green Bay likes to play man-to-man coverage, which CJ Stroud typically shreds. Let’s roll with Houston in a close one!

Texans +3

Packers +2

Dolphins @ Colts. Who wins?

This is a tough one, but I will roll with Miami in this spot, mainly because they’re coming off a bye. Sure, I’d like the Fish more if Tua Tagovailoa was in the lineup, but I think Tyler Huntley can do some damage against a very soft Colts defense.

Colts +2

Lions at Vikings. Who wins?

Detroit as an underdog is almost an auto-play for me at this point. Yes, I know that Minnesota is undefeated but they’ve yet to play against a dominant offensive line like Detroit has. David Montgomery finally got a well-deserved extension and I expect him to find the end zone at least once in this one!

Lions +3

Vikings +2

Chiefs at 49ers. Who wins?

Why in the world are the Chiefs an underdog? That’s disrespectful, to say the least, and you better believe that Mahomes and Co. will take exception to that. The Niners are a good team but they’re still without Christian McCaffrey and they could also be missing newcomer RB Jordan Mason. Look for Chris Jones to get enough pressure on Brock Purdy to disrupt the San Fran offense.

Chiefs +2

49ers +2

Eagles at Giants. Who wins?

Philly won coming off their bye, but man, they didn’t look all that great against a very poor Browns squad. There are some rumblings that the Eagles players are getting sick and tired of head coach Nick Sirianni. I don’t usually read too much into press clippings, but I do think this is a good spot to back the G-Men at home, especially since Malik Nabers will be back.

Eagles +2

Giants +4

Jets at Steelers. Who Wins?

There is all kinds of drama going on with the Jets right now, but I think they bounce back off a tough loss to the Bills on Monday Night Football. The Steelers have a fabulous defense but I’m still not too sold on their offense. It also doesn’t hurt that the Jets just traded for Davante Adams.

Steelers +2

Pick a player to score a touchdown:

I’m picking George Kittle out of this group of tight ends. Sure, the payoff isn’t as nice as some of the other guys on the list, but the matchup lines up perfectly for Kittle. Kansas City has allowed the most fantasy points to tight ends in 2024. Kittle is also coming off a 2 touchdown performance against Seattle!

Which QB throws for the most passing yards?

We already mentioned above how Stroud usually performs well against man coverage! This is an opportunity to back him against a Green Bay defense that ranks 25th in passing yards allowed this season. Sounds good to me!

Jared Goff(+2)

Sam Darnold (+2)

CJ Stroud (+2)

Which of these players will have the most receiving yards?

London’s production has been off the charts the last couple of weeks, mainly because Kirk Cousins finally looks to be 100% healthy after last year’s Achilles tear. London should fare quite well against a Seahawks secondary that ranks just 17th in yards per pass allowed.

Amon-Ra St. Brown (+2)

Stefon Diggs (+2)
