It was a so-so Week 9 for us, as our NFL picks went 5-5 to run our yearly record on EatWatchPlay to 49-46. Let’s review the 11 questions below and see how we do in Week 10.

The winner of the NFL Week 10 contest gets 100 PLAYs, 2nd gets 50, 3rd gets 35, and anyone in the top 20% gets at least 5. Enjoy the NFL action and good luck to all!

Steelers at Commanders. Who wins?

We might as well kick things off with two of the hottest teams in the league! It’s tough for me to fade the Commanders and Jayden Daniels at home, but I like this Steelers team to find a way to win coming out of their bye week. I also like the look of the Pittsburgh offense now that Russell Wilson is finally entrenched as the starting QB.

Steelers +3

Commanders +2

Falcons at Saints. Who wins?

I keep on fading this Falcons squad and it keeps biting me right in the you know what! Nevertheless, I will die on that hill one more time and take the Saints at home. New Orleans fired their coach, Dennis Allen, this week so we should see an inspired effort from the Big Easy boys in this one. Derek Carr should do well very against this Atlanta defense.

Falcons +2

Saints +3

Jets at Cardinals. Who wins?

It’s do-or-die time for the Jets, as they finally got a big win last week on Thursday Night Football. Having an extra couple of days to prepare for this game should definitely help the Jets in this matchup. Arizona has been hot, but I still don’t trust their porous defense.

Jets +3

Cardinals +3

Bills at Colts. Who wins?

The Bills have been on a hot streak, but this is a tricky spot for them this week against the Colts. Indy was embarrassed on Sunday Night Football, but I expect Shane Steichen to have a much better offensive game plan in this one. Buffalo also has a date with Kansas City on deck, so they may be peeking ahead just a little bit.

Bills +3

Colts +4

Vikings at Jaguars. Who wins?

I just can’t figure this Jacksonville squad out! They have talent on both sides of the ball but just can’t seem to generate any positive momentum. Meanwhile, Minnesota’s defense continues to surprise people. Give me Sam Darnold and Justin Jefferson to get an easy W here!

Vikings +2

Jaguars +4

Broncos at Chiefs. Who wins?

I wanted to play Denver in this horrid spot for the Chiefs, but I just can’t pull the trigger. Kansas City needed OT to get past Tampa Bay on Monday Night Football, so they may be a bit gassed. Nevertheless, I don’t ever want to get in the habit of fading Patrick Mahomes.

Broncos +5

Chiefs +2

49ers at Bucs. Who Wins?

The Bucs impressed me with their competitive spirit on Monday Night Football, as they nearly upset the Chiefs without Mike Evans and Chris Godwin. Tampa Bay may be a live dog here at home, but it looks like San Fran is getting more and more healthy as the days go by. I’ll ride the Niners here on the road.

49ers +2

Bucs +4

Pick a player to score a touchdown:

It’s hard not to like George Pickens to find the end zone from this group of pass-catchers. The former Georgia Bulldog has only scored 1 touchdown this season, but he’s getting a whole lot more targets since Russell Wilson took over at QB for Pittsburgh. It also doesn’t hurt that Washington is giving up 7.4 yards per pass (21st).

Which QB throws for the most passing yards?

This Jaguars team has been fighting hard, but I think they could be taking a vacation to Quitsville here pretty soon. Jacksonville ranks just 31st (next to last) in passing yards allowed per game, so Mr. Darnold should feast on this secondary. Don’t overthink this one!

Josh Allen (+2)

Sam Darnold (+2)

Aaron Rodgers (+2)

Which of these players will have the most rushing yards?

Arizona loves to run the ball and this Jets defensive line has struggled to stop the run all year long. Conner is a tough runner who doesn’t mind toting the rock 25 or more times if called upon. Look for the former Pittsburgh star to run wild in this one!

D’Andre Swift (+2)

Jonathan Taylor (+2)

James Conner (+2)
