It was a solid Week 13 for us, as our NFL picks went 6-4 to run our yearly record on EatWatchPlay to 71-64. Let’s review the 11 questions for the week 14 contest below and see how we do in this slate.
The winner of the NFL Week 14 contest gets 100 PLAYs, 2nd gets 50, 3rd gets 35, and anyone in the top 20% gets at least 5. Enjoy the NFL action and good luck to all!
Jaguars at Titans. Who wins?
Can I really pick Will Levis and the Titans? Yes, but only because Mac Jones will probably be starting under center for the Jags. Tennessee looked awful against Washington last week, but they have more than enough horses to get a home W over Jacksonville in this spot.
Jaguars +3
Titans +2
Seahawks at Cardinals. Who wins?
I’ve been picking Arizona all year long and I’ll die on that hill once again in Week 14. The Cards will be out for some sweet revenge after losing to the Seahawks just two weeks ago. The funny thing is they actually outgained Seattle in that losing effort. Give me the home team!
Seahawks+3
Cardinals +2
Bills at Rams. Who wins?
I’m going to go against the grain and take Sean McVay and the Rams at home. The Bills may have celebrated a little too much after clinching their division title last weekend. This game means more the LA and I think we’ll get a maximum effort from them on Sunday.
Bills+2
Rams +4
Bears at 49ers. Who wins?
I love picking teams right after they fire head coaches. Word on the street is that Matt Eberflus lost the locker room several weeks ago, so Chicago should put up a good fight now that he’s gone. San Fran has been bitten badly by the injury bug all year. Give me Da Bears!
Bears +4
49ers +2
Chargers at Chiefs. Who wins?
My goodness, can the Chiefs get any luckier? They were all but beaten on Black Friday until a bad snap by the Raiders center saved their bacon. Justin Herbert has enough weapons to get this win, even in the hostile environment of Arrowhead.
Chargers +4
Chiefs +2
Jets at Dolphins. Who wins?
The Jets are a complete dumpster fire right now and I’m fading them until further notice. The Dolphins are still somewhat in the playoff hunt, and they’ll be eager to get back on track after an awful performance in Green Bay on Thanksgiving.
Jets +3
Dolphins +1
Falcons at Vikings. Who Wins?
Taking a shot with another team that’s in bad current form. Kirk Cousins threw 4 interceptions for just the second time in his career last week. I think he bounces back strong against his former team. Atlanta steals a close one here!
Falcons +3
Vikings +1
Pick a player to score a touchdown:
Let’s roll with Drake London out of this group of nice wideouts! Yes, I know how badly Atlanta’s offense has been struggling. However, as mentioned above on my Falcons pick, I’m expecting Kirk Cousins to bounce back in a big way. A big part of that process will be throwing the ball to Drake London as much as possible.
Justin Jefferson (+1)
Drake London (+2)
Mike Williams (+3)
Quentin Johnston(+4)
None of These (+2)
Which RB gets the most rushing yards?
Tony Pollard is quietly having a very good season for the Titans. The former Cowboys RB has run for 835 yards and 4 TDs so far in 2024. Jacksonville has a decent rush defense, but I could see them showing signs of quitting in this one. Give me Pollard to outshine Irving and Robinson.
Bucky Irving (+2)
Bijan Robinson (+2)
Tony Pollard (+2)
Which of these QBs will have the most passing yards?
Baker Mayfield has finally found a real home in Tampa Bay and he’s having a fantastic season. The former Heisman winner shouldn’t have any trouble exploiting this Las Vegas defense. The Raiders may be a bit sluggish after last week’s rough loss to Kansas City.
Baker Mayfield (+2)
Kirk Cousins (+2)
Josh Allen (+2)
