It was a rough Week 11 for us, as our NFL picks went 4-6 to run our yearly record on EatWatchPlay to 59-56. Let’s review the 11 questions below and see how we do in Week 11.
The winner gets 100 PLAYs, 2nd gets 50, 3rd gets 35, and anyone in the top 20% gets at least 5. Enjoy the NFL action and good luck to all!
Vikings at Bears. Who wins?
I wanted to take ‘Da Bears’ in this spot at home, but I worry they may be pretty devastated after losing to their archrival Packers due to a blocked field goal. Vikings QB Sam Darnold has slipped a little bit in recent weeks but he should do just fine against this Bears secondary. Chicago ranks just 21st in yards per pass allowed. SKOL!
Vikings +2
Bears +3
Cardinals at Seahawks. Who wins?
This is the perfect time to sell Seattle at a high point. They’re coming off a thrilling comeback win over San Fran and may have partied too hard for a couple of days. Meanwhile, the Cards will be well-rested coming off their bye. Look for James Conner to run wild in this one!
Cardinals +3
Seahawks +3
49ers at Packers. Who wins?
As we just mentioned, this is a great bounce-back spot for the Niners, who lost outright as a heavy favorite against the Seahawks. San Fran has some injury issues that scare me, but I still think they can sneak out a win here at Lambeau. Green Bay was lucky to beat Chicago last week and I still don’t quite know what to make of them.
49ers +3
Packers +2
Eagles at Rams. Who wins?
Philly is coming off some extra rest since they last played on Thursday Night Football against Washington. I like the Eagles and all of their offensive weapons, but the Rams are just 5-5 and in desperation mode. Give me the home team and let’s root for a big day from Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua!
Eagles +2
Rams +3
Broncos at Raiders. Who wins?
Man o Man, what a fantastic coaching job Sean Payton has done in Denver. He’s got this squad to 6-5 and Bo Nix has progressed remarkably well this year, especially for a rookie. Las Vegas keeps playing hard and they’ll put up a fight at home, but Denver’s defense is just too good not to play here!
Broncos +2
Raiders +5
Bucs at Giants. Who wins?
It was recently announced that Tommy ‘Cutlets’ DeVito would be under center for the G-Men in this one. While I’m not too crazy about that move, he can’t possibly play any worse than Daniel Jones. That said, I’m rolling with Tampa Bay and hoping that star WR Mike Evans will finally be back in the starting lineup.
Bucs +2
Giants +5
Patriots at Dolphins. Who Wins?
New England has looked much better since naming Drake Maye as the starting QB. However, Miami still has playoff aspirations, so there’s no way they’ll overlook the Pats in this spot. Tyreek Hill’s health bothers me, but the Fish have plenty of other weapons that can help push the ball down the field.
Patriots +6
Dolphins +2
Pick a player to score a touchdown:
Let’s roll with Tyler Lockett out of this group of nice wideouts! Sure, Seattle’s offense has many weapons to choose from down around the goal line, but I expect Geno Smith to trust the reliable old veteran in these big-time divisional games. Arizona has been better than everyone expected, but their secondary is still more than a bit underwhelming.
Terry McLaurin (+1)
Courtland Sutton (+2)
Tyler Lockett (+3)
Jalen Tolbert (+4)
None of These (+2)
Which RB gets the most rushing yards?
I’ve got a hunch that Josh Jacobs goes off against a banged-up Niners defense on Sunday. The former Alabama star usually gets around 17 carries per game, so he’ll have the usage to do some big damage. San Fran’s rush defense looks great on paper, but Green Bay’s O-line should be able to get plenty of push.
De’Von Achane (+2)
Jonathan Taylor (+2)
Josh Jacobs (+2)
Which of these rookie QBs will have the most passing yards?
This one’s a no-brainer if I’ve ever seen one! Jayden Daniels struggled against a solid Eagles defense last Thursday, but he should slice through this pitiful Cowboys secondary like a knife through warm butter. Maye and Nix have greatly improved, but Daniels will prove once again why he’s the hands-down favorite to win the Rookie of the Year.
Drake Maye (+2)
Jayden Daniels (+2)
Bo Nix (+2)
